PLEASE NOTE THAT: 
  • A Pre-Conference Meeting is recommended and should be scheduled at least one week prior to the deadline date.
 
  • The scheduled Planning & Zoning Commission and Board of Adjustment meetings are held at the City Council Chambers located at 222 Kirkland Street. 
 
  • All Board of Adjustment meetings are normally held on the third Monday of each month at 5:30 P.M. unless a holiday falls on that date.  In that case, the meeting will be held on the second Monday of the month.
 
  • All Planning & Zoning Commission meetings are normally held on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 P.M. unless a holiday falls on that date.  In that case, the meeting will be held on the second Monday of the month.
 
  • All applications must be submitted by 4:00 P.M. on the deadline date. The applications must be complete at the time of submittal.  If the application is not complete, we will not accept the application and no extension to the deadline date will be given.
 
APPLICANT SHALL CONFORM TO: 

  1. The Petitioner or Representative must be present at all Meetings.
                                                                                                                       
     2.  A letter that states the applicant's request must accompany all applications.


     3.  Major subdivisions (tentative, preliminary and final) deadlines have been incorporated into these new deadline dates.  It is advisable that you have a pre conference meeting with the City Planner, City Engineer and Public Works Director to go over your application to make sure you have met all city requirements as required in our ordinance.  Revisions from all engineering inspections and comments are due 14 days prior to the meeting to ensure staff adequate time to revise staff reports.
