LMHOF Bayou Bicentennial Music Caravan at Rockin' the Rails

In celebration of Louisiana’s 200th anniversary, the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame will bring its Bayou Bicentennial Music Caravan to Rockin’ the Rails at the Covington Trailhead on Thursday, April 19.

This free event, produced by the LMHOF in partnership with the City of Covington and the St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce, will take place from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Covington Trailhead, 419 N. New Hampshire Street in downtown Covington. The concert will showcase a variety of Louisiana musical talent backed by LMHOF’s own event band. Guest artists for this concert will include Jo-El Sonnier, Chase Tyler, Ricky Windhorst & Christian Serpas, and Paula Rangell of Paula & the Pontiacs. As part of the celebration, attendees will be treated to birthday cake and ice cream. As a special addition to this event, the late Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown will be inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.
