UPDATE- Officers Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Persons of Interest - Two Burglaries Reported in the 600 Block of Jahncke Avenue
Detectives are seeking information surrounding suspicious activity in the form of door-to-door salespeople offering cleaning products or services. A canvass of the area produced a description of two persons of interest; a black woman, approximately 20-30 years of age, 5’6” – 5’7”, 140-160 lbs, a gap between her teeth, possibly with her hair ‘up’; and a white male, in his mid 20’s, 5’10”-5’11”, thin build, light brown short hair wearing khakis. The persons of interest were accompanied by two black males in a full size medium to dark grey passenger van.
The first two people described were going door to door, each with a can of Febreze, and offering to clean floors and give the can to the residents as a reward, or offer a product or service from a nearby business just starting up. When asked, neither volunteered any sales literature or telephone numbers, suspicious behavior for persons trying to sell products or services.
