The City of Covington has contracted out waste disposal with Progressive Waste Solutions.
Garbage and Recycling Services
For all residents and small businesses, all household garbage, green waste and recycling will be picked up citywide every Wednesday for all customers. All containers for garbage and recycling should be curbside by 5 a.m. Wednesday mornings. Residents and businesses are also reminded to promptly store their trash and recycling carts after pickup, rather than leaving them curbside, encouraging all to "Be A Good Neighbor".
Commercial customers wishing to obtain dumpster services should contact Progressive Waste Solutions directly at 985-781-3171 or contact another provider to establish an individual contract for dumpster services.

Large Debris / Green Waste Services
Large debris/green waste is picked up by Progressive Waste Solutions. Residents should call Progressive Waste Solutions directly at 985-781-3171 to schedule a pickup. It may take up to two weeks for removal.
