How to Obtain a Police Report
The Covington Police Department maintains records of all reports filed. To obtain a copy of a report, please allow at least 10 business days from the date of the report.
Online:
- Crash Reports: Available online after 10 business days. You will need the report number, last name of an involved party, date of the crash, or crash location. Fees apply.
- Other Reports: Available online. Fees apply. You will be contacted to arrange payment.
In-Person:
- Visit our Records Unit at: Covington Police Department, 609 N. Columbia St. Covington, LA 70433
- Fees apply (cash, check, or money order only)
Important Information
- Report fees start at $1.00 per page.
- Additional fees may apply for photos or other documents.
- Report availability is subject to Louisiana public records law.
