Garbage and Recycling Services
During the COVID-19 emergency, for all residents and small businesses, all household garbage, green waste and recycling will be picked up on Wednesdays. All containers for garbage and recycling should be curbside by 5 a.m. Residents and businesses are also reminded to promptly store their trash and recycling carts after pickup, rather than leaving them curbside, encouraging all to "Be A Good Neighbor".
Due to a labor / driver shortage (COVID-19 related), recycling is suspended indefinitely. When it does return, it will be picked up on Thursdays.
Commercial customers wishing to obtain dumpster services should contact Coastal Environmental Services directly at (985) 781-3171 or contact another provider to establish an individual contract for dumpster services.
