Grants and Procurement

The Grants and Procurement Division is responsible for managing grant funding and overseeing purchasing activities for the City of Covington, with a focus on supporting infrastructure projects.

The division’s focus includes finding and managing federal, state, and local grants, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and handling the City’s procurement processes. This includes preparing and issuing bids and proposals, reviewing responses, and managing contracts in accordance with Louisiana laws and applicable regulations.

The division works with City departments and outside partners to make sure projects are properly funded and purchased in a responsible manner.
